Waves & Wild Children's Hygge Vest/Gilet - PDF sewing pattern

The Hygge is a lined, sleeveless, zipped vest/bodywarmer/gilet (depending on where you live!). There are options for a straight or curved back hem, collar or hood, optional welt pockets and optional ribbed arm cuffs and optional zip guard.

The Hygge goes from 0-3m up to Age 12. It is designed for warm, thick fabrics such as wool blends, soft shell or padded nylon. Warm fabrics such as fleece are ideal for the lining. This is an intermediate level pattern although there are options available for advanced beginners.

An overlocker/serger can be used for many steps but importantly a sewing machine is all you need for all options.

Take the copy shop file to a professional printer to print onto large sheets of paper.

Use the projector file to project the pattern straight onto your fabric meaning you don’t have to print at all! 

The pattern is created in layers which allows you to simply print the layers (sizes) you need.
