Warehouse Supervisor 

We are a small online business based in Christchurch, selling sewing supplies, kits and subscription boxes. We are looking for someone to join our small and friendly team on a part-time basis to help manage the warehouse operations. You’ll need to have a can-do attitude, be a great problem solver and be prepared to get stuck into whatever needs doing!

Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Pay: £15/hr

Hours: Part-time, 4 hours per day 9am-1pm – may be opportunity for extra hours as needed

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Managing the picking/packing team
  • Overseeing and being responsible for all aspects of order dispatch
  • Dealing with any order issues as they arise
  • Stock management – stock takes, inventory adjustment, taking deliveries, organising stock in warehouse, dealing with offcuts
  • Preparing post ready for collection
  • Overseeing production of own-brand products
  • Communicating with customers as necessary
  • Keeping the warehouse neat and tidy
  • Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed

Skills and experience required

  • Previous experience managing people
  • Proven ability to direct and co-ordinate operations
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technology proficient
  • Good customer service skills

  • Experience of operations/warehouse work
  • Interest in sewing/crafts
  • Experience using Shopify
