Warehouse Supervisor
We are a small online business based in Christchurch, selling sewing supplies, kits and subscription boxes. We are looking for someone to join our small and friendly team on a part-time basis to help manage the warehouse operations. You’ll need to have a can-do attitude, be a great problem solver and be prepared to get stuck into whatever needs doing!
Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Pay: £15/hr
Hours: Part-time, 4 hours per day 9am-1pm – may be opportunity for extra hours as needed
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Managing the picking/packing team
- Overseeing and being responsible for all aspects of order dispatch
- Dealing with any order issues as they arise
- Stock management – stock takes, inventory adjustment, taking deliveries, organising stock in warehouse, dealing with offcuts
- Preparing post ready for collection
- Overseeing production of own-brand products
- Communicating with customers as necessary
- Keeping the warehouse neat and tidy
- Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed

Skills and experience required
- Previous experience managing people
- Proven ability to direct and co-ordinate operations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technology proficient
- Good customer service skills
Desirable
- Experience of retail
- Experience of operations/warehouse work
- Interest in sewing/crafts
- Experience using Shopify
