Waves & Wild Children's I Dig Dungarees - PDF sewing pattern

The I Dig Dungarees pattern is a traditional ‘bib and braces’ dungaree (overall) pattern. It has options for long legs, shorts and a skirt. You can choose between traditional clips and stud buttons, or regular button and button holes.

Medium weight fabrics such as denim or corduroy are perfect for this pattern

The I Dig Dungarees pattern goes from 0-3m – Age 12 and is best suited to those sewing at an intermediate level. The baby and toddler sizes will work over disposable or trim cloth nappies. The short blue dungarees in the photo of the toddler wearing sunglasses are worn over a trim cloth nappy. If you use bulky cloth nappies then you can either choose to adapt the pattern a little, or alternatively the Wild & Free Dungaree pattern may be a better choice for you.

An overlocker/serger will create the neatest finish but importantly a regular sewing machine is all you need for all options.
