Waves & Wild Children's Star Child Skinny Jeans - PDF sewing pattern

£8.75

The Star Child Skinny Jeans pattern is the perfect skinny jean for the cool kids in your life! Choose from a traditional button fly, modified faux fly or soft, elasticated waist. You can add hip pockets and back pockets. Finally, there are instructions for embellishing your garment using reverse appliqué or fabric paint.

This is a close fitting pattern and requires stretch woven fabric with a minimum of 30% stretch, 50%+ being better. The pattern includes a stretch guide to help you calculate the stretch of your fabric. Stretch denim is ideal but other mid-weight stretch wovens will work well too. Knit fabrics are not suitable for this pattern. This pattern is drafted for children who wear undies. It is not suitable for children who wear nappies (cloth or disposable). If you would like a jeans pattern for nappy wearers then I recommend the Twist & Shout.

This pattern is designed for those sewing at an intermediate level or higher.

The Star Child Skinny Jeans pattern is gender neutral and goes from Age 2 to Age 12.

Skill level: Intermediate

Age: Age 2 – Age 12

Printing

Print the print-at-home pattern on A4/legal/letter sized paper.

Take the copy shop file to a professional printer to print onto large sheets of paper.

Use the projector file to project the pattern straight onto your fabric meaning you don’t have to print at all!

The pattern is created in layers which allows you to simply print the layers (sizes) you need.
