Try your hand at quilt making for the first time - it doesn't have to be scary, we promise! This basic lap quilt is actually fairly simple to make, so ideal for beginners to quilting and patchwork.

The step-by-step instructions will take you through many of the staple skills of quilting, including top tips on cutting, piecing, squaring up and binding your quilt, as well as some simple quilting.

It's perfect for snuggling up on the sofa with a hot drink while you watch a Christmas movie to get you in the spirit of the season!

Finished quilt measures approx 40" x 40".

Box includes printed instructions and materials. You will need: a sewing machine and basic sewing tools, quarter inch foot (optional but recommended), safety pins, rotary cutter and cutting mat.

Nice material. Expensive for what it is . Would have preferred actual binding. I’m all for supporting small businesses. Having brought 2 quilt boxes & a subscription box it would have been nice to have had a small freebie having spent £147 and a thank you card. Boxes were not sealed secure either. It won’t stop me purchasing from this lovely company again though. Delivery was quick.
