Take a look at what we got up to on our crafty weekend...
It's been a busy weekend for us here at My Sewing Box, with a visit to The Handmade Fair on Sunday and a trade show on Monday! We though we'd catch you up with the latest on what we've been having a look at, and what you might see appearing soon on the website.
First things first, our beautiful new set of sewing boxes and bags arrived on Friday, which will be up on here for sale very soon! These include two fab new designs of sewing boxes, sewing bags that mean you can easily and stylishly take your latest projects with you anywhere (they double as great handbags too, with so many compartments!), fat quarter bags, and some beautiful machine covers to protect your most precious piece of sewing equipment!
The Handmade Fair
On Sunday, we visited the up-and-coming Handmade Fair, a new event headed by Kirstie Allsopp, that promises to be a firm favourite for years to come! There was an array of amazing crafters there, including beautiful handmade products for sale in a wide range of crafting areas. Set in the stunning grounds of Hampton Court Palace, it was well worth a look in, with loads and loads of workshops going on throughout the day and familiar faces such as Etsy there to offer advice for anyone that wants to sell their wares.
Trade show
Monday saw us taking a look at some new products to add to our range - and finding some amazing inspiration for various needlework at the show! Look out for our new range of dress fabrics coming soon to the website - including some fabulous ex-design house fabrics!
