Today, we'd like to bring to your attention...

The Big Comic Relief Crafternoon

What is it? I hear you cry.

Well, it's designed for all of us crafty people out there who want to use our talents to help contribute to Comic Relief. The Big Comic Relief Crafternoon is a fantastic special edition of the Mollie Makes magazine, packed full of crafty project ideas. The idea is that the money from the sale of the magazine will go towards Comic Relief, as well as inspiring you with some makes to sell afterwards - hoping that some of the proceeds of these sales might be donated to Comic Relief also.

I think it sounds like a fab idea! We always love supporting a good cause, and it's nice to have a way of doing that which suits our talents and interests this year - much as I love a red nose, I'd much rather sew a floral moustache! Projects are from all over the craft spectrum, including sewing, knitting, crochet and more.

The magazine goes on sale on Thursday 29th January, and is available in Sainsburys stores or online via iTunes or Google play. It costs £7.99, but £5 of that will be going straight to Comic Relief. If you're feeling super crafty and a charity superstar, why not make some of the items up and then sell them with some of the proceeds going to Comic Relief? Not only does it help support a great cause, but it should encourage people to buy and help get the word out there about your products and/or Etsy shop if you're a regular seller. Whether you sell them online or at a local craft fair, Comic Relief will be so grateful of the extra support.
