#mysewingchallenge Week 5: Buttonholes

We're more than half way through our weekly challenges now - how quickly has that gone?! So we thought we'd better up the ante this week with a new skills-based theme for you to get lots of practice in... it's buttonholes week!

A lot of people avoid both buttonholes and zips, and as we've covered one already, it seemed only fitting to try the other - so it's time to get practicing. We want to see your garments featuring at least one buttonhole, from shirts to dresses to purses and bags!

Don't forget to share your make on Instagram or Facebook with #mysewingchallenge and to tag us so we can see your entry!

You have one week to make your item and share/tag us on social media, and we will pick our winner on Tuesday next week before the show... who will receive a £25 gift voucher to spend on sewing goodies of their choice! We will be looking for originality, effort and beautiful projects, so don't be put off if you're a beginner - it's not about being the best, it's about having a go and pushing yourself!
