Shop Progress: Opening Week!

Oh it's been a very exciting week, and our last before we opened the doors of our new fabric shop in Bournemouth... as you can imagine, it was a bit hectic!

Shop Progress: Opening Week!

 What a week! It was our last week to get straight before our big open event on saturday, and boy did we feel the pressure! It was a mad rush at the end of the week to bring everything together (there's never enough time in the day), but we managed to pull it off with a lot of sleepless nights and long evenings at the shop. 

Luckily for us, it seemed to be a hit when we opened our doors on Saturday! From the moment we opened until lunchtime, we didn't stop - it was so busy, and beyond wonderful to see and meet so many sewists in one place, engaging with likeminded people and enjoying our new offering!

The cake we had made was incredible... shout out to Occasional Cakes Bournemouth for their amazing hard work! It was a real talking point, and everyone said it was delicious too - amazing! 

So many people were asking about our classes which was great, and we've already got more in the pipeline to help fulfil the demand - so keep an eye out on our classes page.

We ended the day and week, utterly exhausted but entirely delighted and want to say a massive thank you to everyone that came along on the day! A big thank you to all our friends and family that have supported us through the process, and on the day too - we couldn't have done it without you.

And we'd also like to welcome those who couldn't make it, to drop by any time for a chat and a cuppa - we can't promise you won't leave without something pretty though!
