Shop Progress: Week 4

It's crazy to think that we've been in the shop for almost a month now - it only feels like it was a week ago that we moved in! But you guessed it... it's been another crazy week getting sorted...

Shop Progress: Week 4

The most exciting event of this week was the sign going up on Monday - woohoo! Now we look like a real shop! It looks even better than we thought, thanks to our lovely signwriters Pro Signs.

We also got a lovely feature in our local paper - a full page almost, we were so happy! 

It's been another tough week, mostly due to the heatwave we've been having. Luckily it meant that the paint dried fast when we painted the tables and chairs though!

One fantastic other achievement of our week has been getting our list of classes and workshops online ready for you lovely lot to prebook - we've had some sign ups already! Lots of ordering happened this week to fill our wonderful space with more stock, all those handy and necessary things you can't be without like zips, ribbons, bias binding etc. We also had some lovely fabric and habby deliveries to fill our shelves - take a sneak peek of our new products below. Now we've just got to make space for it all...

We've spent the whole weekend working at the shop trying to finish off our bits of bespoke furniture like our counter and ribbon and fabric roll display units, on some of the hottest days of the year, so we feel like we need a cold drink and a pat on the back right now! But we are almost there... as we go into our final week of preparation before we open our doors, we're excited (and a little bit nervous about finishing on time)!
